We knew it: Since Facebook changed their Promotion Guidelines Promotions dominate the Facebook Top Posts. So we saw it last week. A lot of the Top Posts asking the users to like or comment on their post to get the chance to win a prize.
But what changed exactly in the guidelines? Promotions on Facebook had to be administered through apps before. Now, they may be administered on Page timelines as well. What that means for Page administrators you read here.
To help you pick a winner we invented the Fanpage Karma Good Luck Fairy
Just go to the Fanpage Karma Good Luck Fairy page, enter the URL of your Facebook post and click “identify winners” and here you go! The system will pick one winner at random from the likes, one from the comments, one from the likes and comments combined and one among the comments who had the most votes on her comment.
And a supercool add-on for all Page administrators: you get the names of all people which commented or liked the post as a handy Excel sheets including the full Facebook name and a link to the profile.
