5 reasons to grant us insights rights

You probably already know that Fanpage Karma provides a lot of interesting facts and figure (and if you don’t, just click here). But what you may not know: You can refine and extend the analysis for your own page(s) even more. To do so, all you have to do is grant us insights permission.

What does “Insights rights” mean?

Usually Fanpage Karma works with 100% publically available data, which allows us to e.g. show you data about your competition. We specifically chose to work this way, because we want to access as little of your data as possible and let you choose on your own when to unlock additional data.

Insights rights grant us the permission to access your page’s statistics, which usually is only accessible by page admins. We then tautomatically add this data to our calculations, which gives you additional KPIs and makes our calculation results even more accurate.

What’s in it for you?

Allowing us to access your insights data makes your work with Fanpage Karma more efficient and timesaving by being able to:

Create monthly reports

Our monthly report gives you a complete analysis of a bigger time frame (one month minimum) and sends it to you as a handy Excel sheet. With that you can easily present the development and the most important KPIs, which saves heaps of time. As soon as you granted us insights rights you can download the report by going to your dashboard and click on “More” on the right hand side.

The monthly report provides everything you need to know at a glance

Get more post details

Once you allowed us to access your page data, the “Complete post list” in the “Content” tab of the single page analysis gets three new columns: reach, lost fans and clicks. That way you can easily see, which posts reached the most users, which were clicked on a lot and which ones made your fans “unliking” your page. Soon the reach will be devided in “organic” and “paid”, too.

More details about your posts

And if you take a look into the “Times & Types” tab, you also get to know how your Facebook traffic split up.

Where does your traffic go?

See more KPIs

In addition to more details about your posts, you also get access to a couple of new KPIs in your page’s development graphs: How often do people visit your page, how many users interacted with your content and your daily “Talking about” rate.

Additional KPIs in the development graphs.

Calculate your Ad Value

If you’re interested in how much your Facebook reach is worth, granting us insights rights allows you to assign different values to your different post types, which results in a much more accurate calculation of your Ad Value.

Get the amount of fans

Unfortunately Facebook doesn’t allow us to access a page’s amount of fans for the past. That means, you can only “look back” as far as the page is part of our index i.e. the date it was analyzed for the first time with Fanpage Karma. This restriction does not apply if you allow us to access your insights data and you can examine the development of your fan numbers for any time period you want.

How do you grant insights rights?

These are all very good reasons to allow us access to your insights. To do so, add your page to a dashboard, click on the little “More” button on right and click again on “Grant insights permission”.

You’ll also find a button in the “Content” and “Times & Types” tabs of the single page analysis.
