Swing your brush… or pencil… or pen!
Last weeks top posts were about various drawings. We had a bit of everything. Illustrations, comics, caricatures. The community really delivered.
You have Spiderman’s mom talking about him being toddler (that’s not his mom though)
…a study showcasing the power of social issue adds that are promoted all around the world and supposed to make people more aware of what’s happening around them
…the security provided by your own dogs who will always make sure that you only carry the finest groceries
…an interpretation of a conductor’s job
…and the beautiful work of a modern Picasso.
If this piece of art was created on canvas instead of a computer, one could probably sell it for quite a bit. But we guess printing it out yoursef will have to suffice this time.
An honorable mention goes to all the religion related posts. Week after week they manage to make at least 10% of our top posts and usually we don’t mention them because they are rather repetitive. Considering the consistent success they generate there is no way around it though: they are the long runners of english Facebook.
If you compare this development to the german top posts you will notice a severe difference, something that is incredibly interesting to analyze and look at, even though the posts generally lacking substance. They are neither supposed to be funny nor informative, which are the goals of almost all other pages. But they seem to unite gigantic fan bases anyway. An impressive feat for sure.
But it wouldn’t be the top posts if there weren’t any cute critters to show, right? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. A Puppysaurus-Rex.
Frightening, isn’t it? If we didn’t know better we would assume that this is a shot from the new Godzilla movie. Just with less CGI.
