Last week was dominated by a handful of really popular topics and a weird, but also interesting offer.
One thing the Facebook community kept talking about was the crazy weather in certain parts of Canada, Calgary in particular. The temperature changed to so rapidly that people were able to a snowman on one day and go for a swim in their pool on the next.

This doesn’t seem to be anything special though. The comments are cluttered in posts of users who talk about their experience with the crazy weather. But the pictures shared by the fans aren’t just from September 2014, but spread throughout the year.
It seems to be a common phenomenon. Even the penguins are shocked. This one already dressed for winter. Now it’s warm again? Oh come on.
The other topic that dominated Facebook was the story of two sisters who gave birth to their sons only 22 hours apart in the same hospital. The story touched the community so much that half a dozen pages managed to be part of the top post thanks to it.

This, as well as a few other posts, managed to generate a lot of reach by provoking the pages community. Heated discussions are guaranteed success. Another perfect example is this “revelation”.
50% of the people believe what was shown to them. The other half questions the intelligence of them because of it. The page collected almost as many shares as they collected likes. They recently reached 220k! A gag that definitely worked out for them.
