Instagram will soon allow users to donate money for charity through Donation Stickers in stories. Facebook announced this at the Community Summit in early February.
It will look like this
As TechCrunch reports, profiles can insert a “donation” sticker, found in the sticker selection of stories, into their story and link it to a non-profit organization.

The users of the profile can then click on the sticker to make a donation.
What’s in it for Instagram?
Of course, apart from all the goodwill, the introduction of the donation feature is not entirely unselfish. It comes with a big advantage for Instagram. The user’s payment information entered for the donation remains deposited in their account and simplifies subsequent purchases via the app.
