There is a rumor that there will soon be a new advertising format on Instagram, which will enable brands to sponsor posts of Influencers they are cooperating with. As AdAge reports, this was announced on Tuesday by Instagram.
A co-operation between a brand and an influencer on Instagram so far looked like this: The influencer, in consultation with the brand, publishes a post which advertises the brand or a product on his/her profile (branded content). The post is played out to the entire following of the influencer.
The new ad format can increase the reach of such an ad.
The new Branded Content Ads allow businesses to sponsor
